We provide unconventional, innovative mentoring services to transform the lives and experiences of our clients.
Mentoring is frequently integrated into programs that encompass additional elements such as tutoring, life skills training, and coaching. The nurturing, positive relationships that emerge between mentors and mentees offer both immediate and long-term advantages for both parties involved.
The ensuing benefits for young individuals are numerous:
- Heightened rates of high school graduation
- Diminished rates of high school dropout
- Healthier relationships and more beneficial lifestyle choices
- Improved attitude towards school
- Elevated college enrollment rates and greater educational aspirations
- Augmented self-esteem and self-confidence
- Enhanced behavior, both at home and at school
- Strengthened relationships with parents, teachers, and peers
- Improved interpersonal skills
- Reduced likelihood of initiating drug and alcohol use
At CrossOver Mentoring, we have a track record of success. Our clients consistently achieve their goals and leave feeling empowered to face life challenges. Click
Parents make significant efforts to ensure the success and well-being of their children. Nevertheless, children require additional relationships beyond the family unit to develop robust life skills. Childhood is a crucial period for human development, during which we build cognitive, emotional, social, and rational abilities. As children grow and change, they need more than just parental figures.
A friend, teacher, or non-parent mentor can introduce children to fresh perspectives and help them form meaningful interpersonal connections. This has far-reaching benefits, including better academic performance and increased self-confidence. In particular, mentorship is especially beneficial for at-risk youth; with the help of a mentor, they are 52% less likely to skip school and 55% more likely to attend college.
A non-parent mentor is not related to a child and is there to listen and offer guidance. Every child has a unique home situation they may not feel comfortable sharing their thoughts and feelings with their parents. Non-parent mentors connect with the children compassionately and help them find the right path. They do this by creating a safe space for the child to communicate about things they might not usually talk about, such as bullying, poor grades, or other concerns.
Because of our vast knowledge and experience, we teach the right things right and not the wrong things right.
We provide a meaningful solution that enhances our clients’ lives.
